1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or its interactive features.
2. About Astralux
Astralux is a Canadian web design and AI automation studio serving organizations in Canada and the United States. The website provides general information about our capabilities, examples, and ways to contact us.
Website content is not a binding offer. The scope, schedule, fees, responsibilities, intellectual-property rights, warranties, and other terms for a client engagement will be set out in a separate written agreement.
3. Permitted use
You may access and use the website for lawful personal or business-information purposes. You agree not to:
- use the website in violation of any applicable law or another person’s rights;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, accounts, systems, or networks;
- probe, scan, overload, disrupt, or interfere with the website or its security;
- introduce malicious code, automated abuse, or deceptive requests;
- scrape or copy the website at a volume that harms performance or bypasses access controls;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation; or
- use website content to imply an endorsement or relationship that does not exist.
4. ASTRA voice assistant
The ASTRA voice assistant is an automated informational feature. Its responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may occasionally be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. Do not rely on ASTRA for legal, financial, medical, safety-critical, or other professional advice.
You are responsible for reviewing information before acting on it. A conversation with ASTRA does not create a client relationship, approve a project, confirm pricing, make a booking, or form a contract unless Astralux separately confirms the arrangement in writing.
You must not submit confidential information, passwords, payment-card information, health information, government identifiers, or sensitive personal information through the voice assistant. Microphone access is optional and can be withdrawn through your browser.
5. Intellectual property
The website and its original text, branding, graphics, interfaces, code, audio-visual material, and other content are owned by or licensed to Astralux and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You may view the website and make reasonable copies for your own internal evaluation. Unless we give written permission, you may not reproduce, publish, sell, license, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from substantial parts of the website or remove ownership notices.
Third-party names, marks, and services remain the property of their respective owners.
6. Enquiries, feedback, and communications
If you send an enquiry, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to share it. You retain ownership of your original materials.
If you voluntarily provide general feedback or suggestions about the website or Astralux services, you allow us to use that feedback without restriction or payment, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.
7. Third-party services and links
The website relies on third-party infrastructure and may link to third-party websites or services. Those services have their own terms and policies. Astralux does not control and is not responsible for third-party availability, content, security, or practices.
8. Website availability and changes
We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the website at any time. We aim to keep the website useful and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free content, compatibility with every device, or permanent availability of any feature.
9. Disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without representations, warranties, or conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or collateral. This includes implied warranties or conditions of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
Nothing in these terms excludes a warranty, condition, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Astralux and its owners, personnel, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss arising from or related to the website, including lost profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity.
Where liability cannot be excluded, Astralux’s aggregate liability arising from use of this free website will be limited to CAD $100. This limitation does not apply where prohibited by law or to liability resulting from fraud, wilful misconduct, or any other matter that cannot lawfully be limited.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information associated with the website, enquiries, and the voice assistant.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any rights you have under mandatory consumer law, disputes relating to these terms or the website will be submitted to the courts located in British Columbia.
13. General terms
If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These terms do not create a partnership, employment, agency, fiduciary, or joint-venture relationship.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the website, services, or applicable laws change. The revised terms will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the website after an update means you accept the revised terms.
